SHUT UP & DANCE CHAMPIONSHIP EDITION 2012

 

They came, they saw, they concurred! Dancers from all over Atlanta represented really big at the "Shut Up & Dance: Championship Edition" this past weekend. Hosted by the one and only Marquese Scott "Nonstop", dancers brought their A game as each one competed for the number one spot. The competition was intense! Dancers went all out as they battled their competitors, to the point of losing shoes and items of clothing during the battle. There were no limits for the dancers. In the end, only two people could walk away with the grand prizes! Great job to all the dancers! True talent definitely lives here in the state Georgia! More pictures coming!

Hey Atlanta! It's time to come together and unite. Dancers bring your best moves out to underground studio for an all out "Cypher" on Friday, January 20th at 8:00pm-12:00 am. The event is FREE! A DJ will be spinning, so you know it's going down! All styles are welcome! Let's go Atlanta!

Each Tuesday ATL Dance Source spotlight's choreography that we feel is Hot! This weeks That's Hot Tuesday comes from Kevin Maher's choreography to Crookers & Rosin Murphy "Hold up your hands". Kevin's choreography is utterly transcendent! Maher's sharp and angular motions create a euphoric yet gaudy feel. Superb work! Check it out!

PROJECT 7 SERIES

Street Studio presents the Project 7 Contemporary Dance Series for the month of January. The classes are $50 for members, students, and professionals. Drop in classes are only $22 and $18 for members, students and professionals. This is a great opportunity to take class with Project 7 Contemporary Dance.
