GOTTA DANCE CONTEMPORARY OPEN CALL AUDITIONS

Gotta Dance Contemporary will host their Professional Company and Apprentice Program Auditions in Atlanta on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at 6:30pm at Gotta Dance Atlanta. Led by Artistic Director Rachel Truitt, the company is a nine-month program designed for serious dancers pursuing a career in dance! The program is designed in 3-month terms. Full and partial scholarships available!

2015 ATLANTA DREAM CHEER TEAM AUDITIONS

The Atlanta Dream Shooting Stars are looking for a diverse group of male and female cheerleaders and dancers to perform at all Atlanta Dream home games throughout the season. Please see below for information on our upcoming auditions.

PRELIMINARY AUDITIONS 
Date: Sunday, March 15, 2015 
Time: Registration begins at 11:00am and auditions begin promptly at 12:30pm

WHAT TO BRING
Valid State-Issued ID
$25.00 Non- Refundable Registration Fee (cash or money order only)
Wear comfortable dance/cheer attire (Fitted t-shirt/tank top and shorts/pants for males; tank top, sports bra, dance trunks, tights and tennis/jazz shoes for females)

Current 4x6 photo (non-returnable)
Please bring a light lunch, water bottles, snacks and towel 
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A diverse group of female and male cheerleaders and/or dancers, ages 18 and up
GED or high school diploma
Previous dance or cheerleading experience
Tumbling skills are a bonus
Must be able to commit to the practices, Atlanta Dream home games, playoffs, community appearances and other scheduled events

GEORGIA GWIZZLIES DANCE TEAM TRYOUTS

American Basketball Assocation's Georgia Gwizzlies are holding tryouts for their new dance team. We are looking for a diverse group of women with a variety of dance and performance backgrounds and a positive attitude. Dancers will be required to attend weekly rehearsals, all Gwizzlies home games (which take place in Atlanta), and attend all team appearances. Dancers should come to the auditions in dance attire. Please bring a resume and headshot as well as the $25 tryout fee. Be prepared to stretch and warm-up, learn a short combo and then perform in small groups. Solo's are optional but encouraged!

DISNEY CHARACTER PERFORMERS AUDITION IN ATLANTA

Audition to be a Disney character performer for the world famous Walt Disney World. 

Audition City: Atlanta, GA
Location: Gotta Dance Atlanta 
Looking For: Disney Character Look-alikes, Disney Character Performers, and Parade Performers

The audition will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 5:00 pm. 

Audition Location: Gotta Dance Atlanta | 1778 Ellsworth Industrial Dr, NW, Atlanta, GA 30318

Sign-in: 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM - Late applicants will not be accepted. Please do not arrive any earlier than 3:30 PM.

Requirements: 

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be authorized to work in the United States.


• College Program applicants must currently be enrolled in college/university taking at least one class at time of application and audition.


• Full Time applicants must be willing to relocate to the Orlando area, and be available for at least one year of full time work.


• Audition scores are only valid for six months. You must be able to begin work within the next six months in order to attend this audition.


• Advanced registration is not required

**NOTE: Many dance studios do not allow street shoes. We recommend bringing a clean pair of dance shoes or sneakers, in your bag, to change into upon your arrival. Character heels, jazz heels, or any type of high heel shoe are NOT ALLOWED in this studio.
