In search of dancers to perform at a New Years Eve event for a one of a kind interactive audience experience. Looking for B-Boys, Krumpers, Lockers, Hip-Hop and Contemporary Dancers. Contemporary Dancers must be versatile in Hip-Hop.
Minimum age to participate is 18 yrs old.
Auditions Round 1: Each dancer will be given 60 seconds to perform a solo piece in their own style. There will be cuts made after this round. Please provide us with your music upon registration via iPod, iPhone or Android device.
Auditions Round 2: Dancers will be given some hip-hop choreography to perform in groups. Dancers will be cut again and those asked to continue will return the following day for call backs. We be looking for dancers that stand out in the crowd and show their personality.
Call Backs on Sept 27:
Location: Gotta Dance Atlanta – 1778 Ellsworth Industrial Dr NW, Atlanta, GA 30318 *Auditions will be held in Studio 1
Time: 11:00am – 1:00pm
Remaining dancers will be asked to create groups of three or four for the call back auditions. Each group will be given a song where they must choreograph a routine on their own. They will be asked to compete against another group in a battle for domination of the floor. We'll be looking for the dancers to showcase unity, creativity, presentation and personality.
We are looking for 6-8 dancers to be cast in the performance. All dancers will be paid for the performance.
Time: Registration/Check-in: 12:30pm – 1:00pm (All dancers MUST arrive at studio no later than 12:30pm. No exceptions will be made.)
